"The treatment of disabled students should be a source of national shame. They represent 12 percent of students in the country, but they make up 25 percent of students receiving multiple out-of-school suspensions and 23 percent of students subjected to a school-related arrest."

Mr. Zelma was also Executive writer of the Producer of the feature film "Forced March" and was co-writer for the screenplay "Bhopal" regarding the toxic injuries suffered in the accident at the Union Carbide plant in India. 

He produced the Hungary and India segments for the PBS series "World of Film" with Rita Gam.
